Because It’s Been Too Long - Marc Marc’s Signal Rigger

As I hinted at in my earlier Marc Marc-worship post, the stuff this man makes sends me over the moon. From the so-retro-it’s-future-again look, to the bananas amount of controls and patch points, and the excessive, but probably totally justifiable cost, it suits my gear fetish to a T.

Not that it matters much- I’d buy it just for the faceplate and knobs, and hang it with reverence above my bed- but this unit contains 8 channels of exhaustively extensive audio signal processing, quad panning, and all manner of custom-to-the-gills routing. It’s the sort of thing an audio geek would have a furtive, ecstatic dream about, only to wake up feeling shaky, disappointed, and slightly dirty.

Second only to a fully-outfitted Buchla 200e, this Signal Rigger sits firmly in the top spot of my list of things to want, but never have.
