The TD Cross Generator is the mother of all modular synth modulation sources. It is splashed with a Mondrian-On-Acid array of colors that could make a rational man flip, and coated with more knobs, jacks, and switches than the space shuttle. Visit the link- the above is only the beginning. MarcMarc has plans for units as large as TWELVE RACK SPACES.
The only rub is, one has to actually have, say, a modular synth, to make good use of this thing. I wonder what price I could get for my non-critical organs in today’s bear market. Hmm.
Update: At today’s exchange rates, the TD Cross Generator can be yours for just under $25,000, cash money American. I’m afraid I don’t have that many organs to spare.
Update #2: Marc Marc contacted me (whee!) and let me know this info:
Dear George,
Thanks for the compliments.
BTW: You do not need a modular synth to make good use of the the TD. It can function quite well stand-alone.
Of course, with a modular synth combined there are more possibilities but that’s is true for any piece of sound gear.
Sincerly yours,
Marc Marc
Makes me want it even more!

Ah, great to hear! I had missed that it had an oscillator and noise source of its own. Too cool! If I’m out in France sometime soon I’ll need to make a pilgrimage to your workshop and see the TD in motion.
