Analog Digital Art - Michael Dotson
I discovered Michael’s work (thanks, Booooooom!) and immediately loved the style- all matter-of-fact polygonal futurism with a smattering of pointillist goodness for texture. It reminded me of graphic art work from 80s tv shows, in the best way. It made me happy we have computers to make art with.
…then I saw this video, which revealed that the artist makes these images with real paint on canvas, through an insanely OCD masking technique, and I was left even more impressed.
